Common complications in restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry – a review of clinical cases and how to digitally diagnose and treat common occlusal problems.
Learn how T-Scan-guided “Disclusion Time Reduction (DTR)” treatment helps patients with headaches and TMD problems.
Case Presentations illustrating occlusion’s role in Muscle Activity, Mandibular Trajectory, TMJ Piper Classification, Range of Motion, Mastication, TMD, Anxiety/Depression, Forward head posture, postural sway and facial asymmetry

Lecture Synopsis
Most of dentistry approaches occlusion from the conformative standpoint of “How do I make my restorations fit the patient’s existing bite.” In this presentation Dr Sutter will share benefits of 28 teeth working synergistically as one functional unit and the consequences when that does not occur. Through biometrics you will “see” how the surface morphology of the teeth change mandibular trajectory, muscle and joint physiology and mastication.

The AES-Occlusion, TMD, Comprehensive Care is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. The AES-Occlusion, TMD, Comprehensive Care designates this activity for 17.75 continuing education credits. The main conference program is designated for 11.25 continuing education credites and an additional 6.5 continuing education credits are available via the post conference workshop.
