Details:
Dr. Katie DeWood attended the University of Michigan as an undergraduate, receiving her degree in Neuroscience. Dr. DeWood comes from a family of dentists, and after completing her undergraduate degree, she decided to follow in her family’s footsteps, completing her DMD from Midwestern University in Arizona. Dr. DeWood has participated in four years of dental materials research, and is an avid consumer of dental continuing education. She is active with a number of institutes of continuing education and is a member of several dental organizations including the AES, Spear Education Faculty club, and the American Dental Association, of which she is a tripartite member. Dr. DeWood maintains a private practice in Bellevue, Washington. In her free time she enjoys many of the outdoor activities offered in the beautiful Pacific Northwest including hiking, rock climbing and skiing. She and her fiancé are also parents to their three cats, Monty, Max, and Mr. Magoo.

Dr. Paul McLornan is a board certified Prosthodontist in private practice in San Antonio, Texas. He is also an assistant professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio (UTHSCSA) Dental School. He is a member of the graduate faculty of the UTHSCSA Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, where he serves as a research adviser to a number of OSA related studies.
Dr. McLornan obtained his dental degree from Queens University, Belfast and his specialty certificate in Prosthodontics from UTHSCSA.
The treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) using oral appliances was the subject of his master's of science research project during his residency and has been a special interest of his since.
Dr McLornan has lectured extensively at local, national, and international dental meetings and study clubs. He is on the teaching faculty of the Dental Institute of Sleep Medicine. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists. He is also a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the AES-Leaders in Occlusion, TMD, Comprehensive Oral Care.
